The engineers have been extremely busy in the last 12 hours and the installation of our brand new machine is really starting to take shape!
This enormous piece of kit, which you can see being installed in the photo, comes as part of our continuous improvement plan and latest investment in the capabilities of CMA.
Work has been taking place on site since the beginning of the year and there have been some major changes to the way our main production space looks in order to accommodate this sizeable machine. Preparation so far has included the installation of a reinforced concrete floor, construction of a brand new mezzanine level and a complete change of layout for our existing machines.
Once complete, this brand new machine will open up a range of new markets for CMA and will massively upscale our Low Volume Parts Production facilities.
