Following their long-term strategic plans and the continued rapid expansion of the business, Birmingham manufacturer CMA Moldform Ltd is currently undergoing a major restructure and has appointed a Group Managing Director, Mark Lowe. Peter Turnock officially resigned his position as Managing Director at the beginning of April and handed over the reins to Mark in front of CMA staff during a company-wide presentation.

The various departments within the company, which include Rapid Prototyping, Scale Models, Art, Industrial Production and Specialised Products will, from 1st May 2015, become separate businesses trading under the CMA Moldform Group Ltd brand.

Mark Lowe, who has worked very closely with Peter Turnock across all areas of the business, will lead the Group of Companies giving a new vision and direction to each individual aspect of the company.

Looking back, Peter joined the Company in 2007 bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise and he was always actively seeking new and exciting projects to put the CMA stamp onto.
Peter brought the company through a long recession, steering CMA on a course that has seen significant growth of sales and production space, increase in skilled workforce and high investment in new plant and equipment.

Peter tells of his highlights at CMA: "Casting a large piece of artwork in clear resin weighing a massive 3,300kgs, and becoming the leading supplier of mouldings for the Automotive after-market".
Peter has decided to take time out to enjoy other pursuits and Mark is excited to say that it's not a complete parting of the ways as CMA will be retaining Peter as an external consultant in an ambassadorial function, supporting the many significant projects that the company is currently involved with.

Moving forwards, it is clear that Mark shares Peter's well-known passion and drive that the CMA tagline 'The Perfect Cast' exudes.

Mark was invited to join CMA following more than 20 years of external support to the business and is highly regarded in the industry of synthetic materials, having worked for some of its principle suppliers.
Mark remarked: "No two days are ever the same, and it looks to continue like that well into the future. We have an ever-increasing list of enquiries from both new and established markets, requiring everything from low volume automotive, aerospace and medical manufacturing, to one-off artistic commissions, and from one to one thousand parts from our scale model production department".

He continued: "My team and I will be building upon the company's solid foundations and look forward to the prospect of maintaining the ongoing company strategy of planned growth and development, with the continued support of our suppliers and customers."

CMA Moldform is a Midlands based company specialising in the development and manufacture of rapid prototypes - both one-offs and production runs - optical art mouldingcentrifugal and vacuum castings, and high capacity rotacasting.  Producing high quality rapid prototypes, and offering reverse engineering and low volume production runs for assemblies and components for over 20 years, using vacuumpressure and RIM casting has led to Tier One status in numerous industries.
