Following the announcement of its new Managing Director, Birmingham based CMA Moldform is adding to it’s thriving sales team with two new appointments.

The company, which has recently invested over £1million in new equipment, is restructuring and strengthening its busy sales team by bringing in an experienced Technical Sales Manager and an Internal Sales Executive.

The new roles will be key to assisting with future growth plans and, by adjusting its sales efforts, the company plans to focus on its core prototyping and low volume production business within the Automotive and Industrial sectors.

Recently appointed Group Managing Director, Kevin Buttress, said:

“Over the past 12 months there have been a number of strategic changes within the business, including a sizeable investment in both plant and processes. With growth coming from a number of major Automotive contracts, it seemed the perfect time re-evaluate the CMA sales structure.

The new appointments will support the changing needs of the business, supporting and growing sales opportunities within our key Automotive and Industrial sectors, as well as maintaining the existing art and scale model business.

Andrew Buck joins CMA as an Internal Sales Executive after 10 years working for a renowned automation and switchgear manufacturer in the oil and gas sector. Drawing on his technical engineering background, Andrew worked his way up through the company into a leading sales position. In his previous roles, Andrew has gained valuable CAD development, project management and technical skills as well as extensive sales experience, which he brings across to CMA.

Andrew’s role at CMA will focus on building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, compiling and following up quotations as well as researching potential new markets for the growing business.

Taking on the role of Technical Sales Manager is William Mack, who joins CMA with over 15 years experience in the Automotive Industry. During this time, William has gained extensive experience working with major Automotive OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers, which is invaluable in assisting CMA to open new doors in this growing marketplace.

With his strong business development and technical sales background, William will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing Automotive contracts, as well as exploring potential areas for growth for CMA.

2016 has already seen a number of positive changes for CMA Moldform, including the launch of a new website, change in management structure, and continued growth across all departments. The business continues to develop its internal processes and procedures, with a significant effort being made to implement the steps needed to achieve TS16949, which is planned for 2018.
