CMA at Made in the Midlands 2014CMA Moldform Ltd had an excellent day at the recent 'Made in the Midlands' expo, which was held on 22nd May at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
The fifth annual exhibition, showcasing 100 regional manufacturers and engineers, saw record levels of new business conducted at its biggest expo to date, attracting over 1000 delegates to the conference facility at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
"It was a great networking day" said Tom Dunkley, CMA's Technical Sales Manager. "Not only did we have new enquiries from both existing and potential customers, we also generated a lot of interest in our services from fellow exhibitors. The quality of the enquiries was very high, and included top marque British car manufacturers as well as a low volume UK based specialist sports car producer." He added We also anticipate substantial orders from the automotive after-market and an increase in export orders.
Highlights included keynote seminars from a range of industry experts and meet the buyer opportunities with Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin Lagonda.
Made in the Midlands chairman David Wright, who is also head of manufacturing at the Technology Strategy Board said the event provided a chance for businesses to showcase the reality behind recent growth headline figures.
